Minnesota Preparing to Give Caregiver Bonus’s to qualifying employees
We have some incredibly exciting news for caregivers and support workers across Minnesota! The State has announced that it will be offering bonuses to eligible workers who earn $30 an hour or less. This new initiative is designed to provide extra financial support to the dedicated professionals who play a crucial role in the State’s caregiving community.
As a part of this initiative, the exact bonus amount will be determined once the State has finalized the details. Whether you are a caregiver, personal support worker, or a family member providing direct care to an individual, this bonus is an acknowledgment of your hard work and dedication from the State of Minnesota to you!
Who is Eligible for the Bonus?
While the full details are still being worked out, we do know that the $30 per hour or less earning limit will be one of the primary criteria for eligibility. This means that if you are working in a caregiving role, either as a full-time employee or a part-time worker, and your hourly wage is $30 or lower, you may qualify for this bonus.
If you are earning $30 an hour or less and work in one of these positions, you are encouraged to stay tuned as more information becomes available about the bonus program.

What Do You Need to Do?
As of now, there’s no action required on your part unless you do not want the bonus or you do not want your information shared. If you do not want to participate, please notify us.
